Interesting findings, and an excellent presentation. I’m excited about your planned research also. I wonder if you might try to assess *types* of dating experiences, both good and bad. That is, if low-clarity people do have less satisfying relationships is it because they have more misunderstandings with their partner? More sense of alienation? Less feeling of understanding? I’m sure you will find lots of interesting results in that study.
Terrific work Dita! Elegant design and super interesting findings (also very clear presentation). Perhaps one reason why you did not obtain the SCC effect for highly similar matches is due to ceiling effects? Also, it wasn’t clear–do the effects hold when you control for self-esteem?
